WHAT OUR TRAVELERS SAY

At the conclusion of every tour we ask: “What would you share with women who are considering traveling with Women Traveling Together®?”

We’ve received everything from “Do it!” to emailed essays about how WTT has changed lives. We’ve sifted through the hundreds of responses and posted a sampling of the comments in hopes that these pearls of wisdom will motivate you to travel. Whether you choose to travel with WTT, or someone else, we hope you make travel a priority in your life.

“This was my first visit to California, and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. We covered a lot of ground in 6 days from tours to restaurants to shopping to sightseeing, etc. (Our WTT Tour Director) was fantastic and always looking for things to do that we all would enjoy. She was also open to suggestions and flexible. Go for it! You won't be disappointed!”

- Candy K. Rochester, MN (San Francisco and Napa Valley, 2026)

“Oh, there were so many moments! Puffins, whales, icebergs, the hikes with the gorgeous views, the companionship of the ladies in the group. If you're on the fence, go. Some of the best trips start with a little uncertainty, but you'll come home with more confidence, stories, and experiences than if you'd stayed home wondering "what if?" ”

- Payal S. Wayne, PA (Newfoundland's Wild Beauty, 2026)

“Nice balance of free time and guided. All included activities were great. Enjoyed the guided tour of San Francisco and the cable cars. Went a day early to see Alcatraz. Muir Woods and Napa valley were amazing.”

- Susan O. Bradenton, FL (San Francisco and Napa Valley, 2026)

“Make this trip a priority on your list of places to go. You will be amazed and delighted. Fabulous ancient ruins, parks, seaside, lakes, churches, shrines. Just wonderful. Trip to Bled Lake in Slovenia ...beautiful day and such a lovely lunch at the castle. Our WTT Tour Director and our local guide were kind, caring and fun to travel with. Such a great trip. Fun, great sites, good food, we all got along, lots of laughing. Better than I even imagined it could be. Loved it.”

- Lisa C. Vienna, VA (Croatia, Montenegro, Slovenia & Venice, 2026)

“I had a great time! I will always remember the kindness and warmth of our group. Everyone was flexible, helpful, and quick to smile. I loved that we were so active. Hiking, rafting, zip lining, walking. (Our WTT Tour Director) made sure everyone felt included. She also had opportunities for downtime if one was so inclined.  Go for it. You will not be sorry.”

- Nancy S. Albuquerque, NM (West Virginia - Wild & Active, 2026)

“WOW!! The rafting and zip-lining were great! Both activities were extensive (not just a 1 hour event so often offered); the local guides were experts, thorough, and patient, and FUN! Walking under the Bridge was a 'once in a lifetime' experience. All the extra tours that (Our WTT Tour Director) took us on were fun and interesting.  The coal mine tour, the World Caverns, the hikes, the Saltworks - all things I've never done before! Even the 'get to know each other' activity the first evening was unique and fun. All the activities were a blast, meals were fantastic, lodging was above expectations, amazing tour director!”

- Patricia T. Winchester, KY (West Virginia - Wild & Active, 2026)

“This was my first time going on a WTT trip. I wasn't sure what it would be like. But it was just what I hoped for and needed! The right amount of no-stress vacation while still being interesting and active. Good variety of different types of activities kept the tour interesting - trail walking, visiting museums, visiting a chocolatier with a tasting, visiting a UNESCO world heritage site, the tram ride to the top of Sandia over 10,000 ft above sea level. Wow! The meals were excellent. Great restaurant choices with a good variety of food choices... the hotels were very nice and in good locations. Everyone on the tour was kind and friendly, and our (Our WTT Tour Director) really set the positive and relaxed tone of the group right from the start. My day-to-day life is overloaded with decision-making, logistics, complex information, and lots of people. I love what I do. But it is important to take a break! (This) WTT trip was just what I needed to refresh and reset.”

- Kerri M. Mankato, MN (Santa Fe & Taos, 2026)

“Seeing and hearing the falls for the first time. The optional trip to the Maple Tree farm was great. I skipped one of the activities and did not feel any pressure to do it or any negative feelings for not doing it. (Our WTT Tour Director) was very accommodating and welcoming. Because of rain one day in NY, she had to pivot and took us to the suffragette museum which was very interesting. The location of the hotel in Canada, within view of the falls, was amazing. Everyone was very nice and helpful. We all watched out for each other. No divas.”

- Lori H. Tallahassee, FL (Niagara Falls & the Canadian Side, 2026)

“It was all wonderful and so glad I chose this one. Loved the Chelsea Flower Show and our tour in York with the cutest 87 year old tour guide. Oxford was so memorable. One evening we walked along the river to dinner and saw rowers from Oxford, the walk back was at sunset and it was beautiful! Will never forget that. Loved the gardens we visited especially at Brentwood Gardens and the poetry reading. Fountains Abby was spectacular and so glad we saw that. The Bake off was a blast too. Can't say enough about (our WTT Tour Director) and (our local guide) in London. They were fantastic. They were very nice, dependable, on top of things, just perfect. It was such a great tour. Very pleased with everything.”

- Ellen W. Cincinnati, OH (The English Countryside, 2026)

“Loved the visit to Cesky Krumlov - a nice slower-paced, quieter town... The Schonbrunn palace visit in Vienna was the highlight of that city with the closing dinner/concert in the palace hall so fitting for the City of Music! Loved the multi-transport (boat, stop mid-day, bus) travel plan to get from Vienna to Budapest. The Parliament building day and night were awesome in Budapest, as well as the visit to a horse farm. Just do it! The trips are well-planned, offering a "take what you want and leave what you don't" spirit. There's a good mix of planned activities balanced with free time. The communications beforehand, the plan, the tour director's guidance for options and alternatives, and the adventurous and curious women who travel all combine to make the trip enjoyable for everyone.”

- Susanne W. LaPlace, LA (Prague, Vienna and Budapest, 2026)

“The bells ringing in the evenings in York, exploring the garden show in Chelsea, wandering Hampton Court Palace, and walking the grounds before and after our poetry reading. Everyone was so friendly, and the (WTT Tour Director and local guides) were superb at ensuring people felt included by offering other activity ideas (dinner on free nights, seeing a play, etc.). Just do it!”

- Melinda G. Johnstown, CO (The English Countryside, 2026)

“I really enjoyed this tour. Chicago was surprisingly beautiful. There were so many things for us to do.  I enjoyed all the included activities and the extra activities during our free time. ur Pizza Tour was a real hit. (Our WTT Tour Director) was great! I really appreciated her efforts in planning activities and optional meals during our free time. She was so fun, kind, and patient with us.  I arrived expecting a fun getaway. What I didn’t expect was to walk away with a collection of firsts that would surprise me and remind me how alive it feels to step outside my comfort zone.”

- Lori K. South Amboy, NJ (Chicago, 2026)

“This was my first trip abroad, and I feel very lucky to have taken it with such a professional company, and such a warm and welcoming group of fellow travelers. Traveling through the countryside in the Lakes District and the Dales. Most beautiful places I’ve ever seen. Don’t wait! I did a relatively local (WTT) tour to start, and then an international trip a year later. Just got back this weekend, and I am already looking at a trip for next year. Guides and fellow travelers are amazing! I learned a great deal, and stretched the boundaries of what I thought I could do on my own. Thank you, WTT!”

- Karen B. Wilmington, DE (The English Countryside, 2026)

“The ladies in the group were awesome and beyond my expectations. The Pizza Tour, Baseball game at Wrigley Field and Millennium Park, Walking Tour of "The Loop", Willis Tower. (Our WTT Tour Director) kept us informed and picked great meals and excursions. She always made sure everyone in the group was taken care of. I would encourage (any woman) to GO FOR IT! I am glad I did!!!”

- Dee J. San Antonio, TX (Chicago, 2026)

“My first tour and it was incredible!!! There was such a nice variety of activities for a leisurely-paced tour, allowing daily enjoyment of the area visited. I enjoyed them all. The gardens were beautiful. The historic homes our guides found were great. The ocean, the beaches, the boardwalks, the rivers, bays, the lighthouses, salt marshes, the dunes, walks, Whalehead, Kitty Hawk, kite flying, Fort Raleigh, Manteo, Corolla horses, Chrysler Museum, sailing. Oh my! I felt so confident in (the WTT Tour Director's) ability I actually turned off my “must control my every moment” button. Just an incredibly enjoyable trip for me. I would do it all again. I most often travel 100% solo but found it pleasantly enriching to share these experiences with the diverse woman I was blessed with in this tour. I believe the tour was excellent; I could not have planned better for myself.”

- Cynthia H. Homer, NE (North Carolina's Outer Banks, 2026)

“Great tour, highly recommend! There were over 6 million different tulips in different colors and varieties. Just absolutely amazing. I enjoyed the wide variety of activities; it was a good balance of planned activities and free time. Enjoyed the craft demonstrations of wooden shoe carving, hand-painted blue and white Delftware, and cookie (stroopwafel) making. When you travel with WTT, you are opening up a new perspective on the world! The details are handled for you, and you only have to go and enjoy the experience. So many places to see and experience. Don't stay home, get out and enjoy life!”

- Janet A. LaGrange, IL (Tulip Festival - Holland, Michigan, 2026)

“The hiking each day was amazing. We peaked at the hardest trail in the middle of the trip, which was great. Walking on a ridge of Roan Mountain and seeing NC on one side and TN on the other was a feeling I will never forget. I will remember the pride I felt with myself for participating in this hiking trip! The friendships and sisterhood came easily. Women Traveling Together tours are well thought out, and great care is shown to the participants.”

- Joy H. Beavercreek, OH (Hiking Around Asheville, NC, 2026)

“Tour was perfect. This was my first (WTT)trip. The information provided before the trip from WTT and the tour director quelled any concerns and anxiety that may have existed. My favorite was hiking the trail on Roan Mt. The views were spectacular, and everyone hiked to their own ability and cheered each other on. It was amazing how quickly all the women bonded. Their friendship made the trip an enjoyable experience. Do it! WTT will take good care of you. You will meet great women and take part in new adventures.”

- Sue B. Wall, NJ (Hiking Around Asheville, NC, 2026)

“This tour was so much fun!!! No pressure on participating or not participating in an activity. I enjoyed the demonstration at the Santa Fe Cooking School, but LOVED actually cooking at Norma's home. Our visit to the Pueblo Cultural Center with lunch was definitely a highlight too. (Our WTT Tour Director) was efficient, organized and created an inclusive environment. Our group bonded immediately because she set the tone. You can spend your days dreaming of traveling, or you can actually travel. WTT provides a safe way to travel. I have experienced 9 WTT tours since 2023. If I had waited for my friends to make up their minds, I wouldn't have gone anywhere. By traveling with WTT, I have met many kind, generous, and fascinating women. I'm a better person for having met them. Take a risk!”

- Judy H. Bowling Green, OH (New Mexico's Cuisine & Cultures, 2026)

“Loved the gardens, Chrysler museum, the museums at the lighthouse. Especially enjoyed the wild horses and the 2 homes we toured. The Chrysler Museum was exceptional. All meals were wonderful, especially the farewell tasting and Blue Moon grill. (Our WTT Tour Director) was amazing and helped the tour flow smoothly. She was organized, personable, and had great surprises. This is a great way to feel comfortable traveling solo, as you will meet some remarkable women and make new friends.”

- Carolyn P. Georgetown, TX (North Carolina's Outer Banks, 2026)

“If I could give this tour a 20 out of 10, I would! For a first-time trip, this was fabulous! I loved all the activities that were planned, I felt you get quite a bit for the money. (Our WTT Tour Director) was AMAZING and had a Plan B in case something didn't work out. Top moment would be walking around and seeing all the beautiful tulips, the history of the town. I enjoyed meeting all the ladies and making new friends! Every person I met made me feel welcomed. Don't let the idea of traveling solo scare you from taking the trip! I was apprehensive to do this, BUT that being said, I am SO GLAD I signed up! Take the leap, take the trip and enjoy, because if this trip I just took is an indication of my future trips, then I am GLAD I am now a proud member of WTT!”

- Robin F. Chesapeake Beach, MD (Tulip Festival - Holland, Michigan, 2026)

“There were a Lot of awe-inspiring moments, the SAGA light show, LBJ library, Bat Watching...loved the sites, the history, architecture, shops, galleries, missions...felt it was the perfect mix of cherry-picked activities with options for everyone. I personally feel I got to see and do everything I wanted on this trip! Really enjoyed the camaraderie of the group and our 5-Star, delightful and energetic, creative, warm, and positive Globe-Trotting Goddess (WTT Tour Director). Go Baby Go! You are only solo till you arrive at your destination, where you will meet up with a wonderful group of adventurous, fun-loving women!”

- Diane H. Redwood City, CA (Texas: San Antonio & Austin, 2026)

“The hotels in both London and Paris were in great locations. The food options for breakfast were delightful. The activities included in both cities were exactly what I wanted to see and do. The (local) tour guides in both London and Paris were phenomenal. (Our WTT Tour Director) was fun and personable. I will and have recommended WTT to friends and family. I have thoroughly enjoyed all my trips with WTT and will continue to travel with your company.”

- Suzannah P. Jacksonville, FL (London and Paris, 2026)

“The first glimpse of the Eiffel Tower was something that was exciting, especially seeing it lit up and flickering at night. Just all of the old buildings and sites you always wanted to see, shopping in Harrods, and having wonderful food, baguettes, chocolate, and champagne! Loved the Bustronome (in Paris), my favorite meal! Great way to see the city and sites, food was excellent. I fully enjoyed exploring both cities and meeting another group of lovely ladies. The women on the WTT trips are great. This is my 14th trip and each one has had wonderful women. No need to worry about will I have someone to eat with, to talk to, to go somewhere with. Everyone is welcoming, you won’t be by yourself unless that’s what you want.”

- Donna W. Carbondale, IL (London and Paris, 2026)

“I loved it. I love the learning aspect of the WTT Tours. Good selection and variety of activities. The light show on the church- well done. Watching the mama bats under the bridge. Mission Concepcion. It reminds me of how little I really know about the world and history. Don't waste years like I did waiting for someone to travel with. This is a fun, safe option. It will change your life and your confidence.”

- Jo O. Fergus Falls, MN (Texas: San Antonio & Austin, 2026)

“I had a wonderful experience! The Chelsea Market and Women of NYC tours were highlights, and the Central Park carriage ride was so much fun. I absolutely loved all the Broadway shows... seeing Hamilton from great seats is definitely hard to beat! Traveling with a group of strangers can feel intimidating, but it’s a rewarding way to see the world. Even arriving solo, you’re surrounded by women who share your passion for exploration. There’s an immediate bond in experiencing new places together, and "strangers" quickly become friends. Plus, having amazing WTT Tour Directors to handle the logistics, providing peace of mind so you can just focus on the fun. If you love to travel, you’ll feel welcome and supported every step of the way!”

- Sheryl D. Salem, OR (New York City & Broadway, 2026)

“The activities were amazing, hiking and walking were perfect....New Mercedes Van...drove smoothly and was so darn comfy! Loved the hiking...not too strenuous...just enough to occasionally let me know I need to work out more when home! The Biltmore was a highlight for me...especially the Luminere Laser show at night was spectacular, unique and breathtaking! The many conversations (with the other women) were also a highlight! (Our WTT Tour Director) was incredible... super attentive to every detail...always felt safe w/her in charge, loved her suggestions for free time activities...and enjoyed her accompanying us for free time as well. I have gone on many WTT trips...and found this one, (think my 7th) to be the most enjoyable. Just do it! You won't regret it!”

- Cheri B. New York, NY (Asheville, North Carolina, 2026)

“Loved it. Tour of Chateau Frontenac has me wanting to do (WTT's Quebec Winter Wonderland) tour but not an extreme cold weather fan. Loved light show in Cathedral. Montmorency Falls were 10/10. Sugar Shack 9/10. Had a blast on WTT tour #9. Excited about becoming a WTT lifetime member on trip #10 to Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta. Go, don’t wait on anyone. You are never alone unless you want to be.”

- Rhonda P. Louisville, KY (Montreal & Quebec City, 2026)

“Enjoyed it all but really liked the Blue Ridge days. Also, the camaraderie was so much fun. Really enjoyed Grove Park Inn lunch and wandering around. (Our Tour Director) was wonderful. Very easy going and fun to be with. Flexible if we asked her to stop to get pictures. Great at communicating the plans in advance each day as well as before the trip started. Everyone was there “in the same boat” not knowing anyone, so obviously taking this type of tour, ready to meet new people. Never felt alone. Easy to fit in. The group got along so well. Many laughs and felt like friends after only five days. I’m sure I’ll be taking future WTT trips.”

- Chris O. Richfield, MN (Asheville, North Carolina, 2026)

“I was impressed on my first WTT tour and by the quality of meals provided by WTT on this one. The hotel was very comfortable. I was worried that it would be noisy at night but it wasn’t. Loved the Broadway shows and the walking tours. I felt like I got to see a good variety of places for my first visit to New York. Don’t dilly-dally book now, you won’t regret it.”

- Barbara H. Grand Forks, British Columbia (New York City & Broadway, 2026)

“This was my first tour and my introduction to WTT. For me, it was all around a terrific first-time experience. I'm not a history buff, but the walking tours of Savannah and the Bonaventure Cemetery were led by engaging storytellers. I waffled about sharing a room since I think of myself as an introvert who needs lots of downtime but I opted for a room share and it was a great experience. We got on wonderfully and I'd do a room share again. (Our WTT Tour Director) was simply fantastic. I feel like she loves her job w/WTT and it shows. There were 15 of us... Yet we created camaraderie and developed real affection for each other in just 5 days! And I liked not having to do much planning beyond booking airline tix. I'd been on the mailing list for about 3 years before I took this first tour! I'm so glad I finally did. Stop talking yourself out of it. Step a tiny bit out of your comfort zone and go on that tour you've been thinking about.”

- MJ V. Raleigh, NC (Savannah & the Golden Isles, 2026)

“I absolutely loved this tour and am so glad I chose to go. I didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did. The Opry show was the highlight, it exceeded my expectations! (The hotel) locations were perfect to access all attractions. The barbecue was excellent, Beauty shop restaurant in Memphis was great. (Our WTT Tour Director) was a blast to travel with. Our group meshed well together and we all had a great time together. (Our WTT Tour Director's) energy was a big part of this. My motto is, "there's no luggage rack on the hearse" so just do it.”

- Robyn H. Vernon Rockville, CT (Memphis & Nashville, 2026)

“This was my first tour with WTT, so I really didn't know what to expect. (Our WTT Tour Director) did a great job. She was always focused on making sure we were all safe and happy. One moment I’ll always remember is being with the group in the tour van for the first time and laughing like we had known each other for years. (I) was a little unsure about having a roommate, but that experience turned into one of the highlights. I'm so glad that I stepped outside of my comfort zone because I have made such great new friends. My advice would be: go for it, even if you feel a little unsure. I usually plan my trips myself, but letting go is absolutely worth it. You don’t have to have everything figured out yourself. With WTT I was surrounded by intelligent, funny, like-minded women who love to travel. You may start the trip solo, but you won’t feel that way for long.”

- Megan H. Ringwood, NJ (Hawaii 3-Island Tour, 2026)

“I enjoyed all the hikes and the other tours/activities. (Our WTT Tour Director) was great. I appreciated her continuous time and attention to adding "extras" into the tour that benefited us all. I  thoroughly enjoyed this tour.”

- Barbara J. Martinsville, VA (England: Walking & Hiking the Countryside, 2026)

“Truly enjoyed everything, WTT did a great job putting this tour together! (This was Keri's first WTT Tour) African American Civil Rights Museum and African American Music Museum. Really cool tour backstage of the Grand Ole Opry. (Our WTT Tour Director) was very professional, friendly, organized, kind, considerate, patient and always pleasant. Just do it, you leave home solo but never feel alone on the trip.”

- Paula W. Lincoln, NE (Memphis & Nashville, 2026)

“I thoroughly enjoyed this tour! (This was Jane's 10th WTT tour) The schedule of daily activities was wonderful... and the free day on each island was spectacular. I will always remember the stargazing at the end of the tour day on Kona... My first time seeing the Southern Cross in the skies and capturing a picture of it with the (local) guide's help. Go for it! (WTT) tours are well planned and executed. Details are handled for you, so that you only have to enjoy yourself. You will have great experiences that will turn into treasured memories! The women you meet often become friends that you look forward to traveling with again and again. Don't sit at home!”

- Jane M. Darien, IL (Hawaii 3-Island Tour, 2026)

“The Pulia region is beautiful and I'm so grateful that I put my nervousness aside and took the group travel plunge! I loved all of the daily tours. Each one was special and truly enjoyable. (Our WTT Tour Director) was OUTSTANDING! She was organized, communicative, fun, and saw to each and every need. There are many special moments but a few stand out. (Our local guide's) mother made us a special cake - pasticciotto leccese - and brought it to the hotel to share with us. It was truly an Italian experience... Another was the pasta-making class. I enjoyed it so much! The women (instructors) were so much fun and eating the pasta afterward - delizioso!! And finally, getting to know my fellow travelers was great!! I was honestly impressed with the level of attention given to me.”

- Cheryl K. Buffalo, NY (Boutique Solo: Southern Italy, 2026)

“So many wonderful experiences on this tour. The locations of the different experiences (countryside with farm animals for pasta making, for example )involving food were all excellent. The boat experience on the Adriatic Sea was excellent and well chosen. (Our WTT Tour Director) did an excellent job. There were five women who were first-timers, and I liked how inclusive she was for the new people.”

- Martha M. Newton, MA (Boutique Solo: Southern Italy, 2026)

“I loved seeing these two cities together and comparing them. So much history and we got a real taste of that. This was my fourth trip with WTT. I have enjoyed each of my roommates and learned so much from both the tours and the lovely, fun women that I met. Wonderful tour - loved it!”

- Cinda K. Sioux Falls, SD (Charleston & Savannah, 2026)

“When I told friends and family I was going to Kentucky, they asked "Why Kentucky?" My response "because I have never been to Kentucky." The activities gave us a wonderful glimpse of Kentucky. With everyone getting into the spirit in our fashionable fascinators, Churchill Downs was particularly fun. The tours of multiple thoroughbred farms was wonderful as we were able to see the horses up close. Since I am a bourbon drinker, I enjoyed both distilleries. I can't say enough positive things about (our WTT Tour Director). She was always two steps ahead of us, checking restaurants, confirming activities, and making sure everything ran smoothly. I took my first WTT trip (Canada by Rail) a bit cautious of the unknown. But five trips later, I am excited about each trip and look forward to finding new places to explore. The women are always interesting, open and inclusive. I have never felt left out or alone.”

- Cheryl H. Poulsbo, WA (Kentucky Bluegrass, Horses & Bourbon, 2026)

“Loved all the walks. Don't be afraid of the words hiking & walking. Hills can be a bit tough but no pressure to hurry up. Proper footware and hiking sticks make the walks very doable. (Our WTT Tour Director) was a fantastic leader. Informative & proactive in letting us know about activity opportunities - museums, spa, restaurants.”

- Kathy R. Gainesville, FL (England: Walking & Hiking the Countryside, 2026)

“Going from the quaint, older ‘European’ areas to the ‘Riviera’ style areas was such a great experience. I loved the contrast and always looked forward to the next day's sights. As we pulled into Portofino and Cinque Terre, I was in awe of the beautiful spots- picture perfect in every way. I did WTT's ‘Highlights of Italy ‘ tour last April and thought I saw such great things, but this tour was even better! I was hesitant to travel abroad, but I now look forward to deciding where I want to go next! With WTT, you are never ‘solo’ unless you want to be. The ladies I’ve encountered on each of my trips have all been so welcoming and easy to be around. We all have the same love of travel and seeing new things. WTT is an awesome experience and I am so glad I joined.”

- Cheryl P. Lakeville, MN (Barcelona, Southern France & the Italian Riviera, 2026)

“Everything was just so much fun! And there was such a great variety - from medieval towns to glitzy and glamorous cities. My favorite was Carcassonne and the day we spent in Portofino but I enjoyed Cannes and Monaco as well. I very much enjoyed this trip, as I have all the others I've been on with WTT (this was Karen's 4th WTT tour). You all do an amazing job. All I have to do is show up. I love the friendships I've formed on these tours and the opportunity to experience places, people, and activities I might not otherwise have.”

- Karen D. Frederick, MD (Barcelona, Southern France & the Italian Riviera, 2026)

“Especially enjoyed the visit to the thoroughbred farm, Federal Hill, mint julep making and Derby hat presentation/fashion show. Shaker Village very interesting. Learned a lot at Ali Museum and Frazier Museum. Visit to the candy shop where 'red hots' are made was special. Old Friends Farm was also fun. Thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of this tour. Highly recommend. I was so scared on my first WTT trip, but I gathered all of my confidence and signed up for one not too far from my home thinking that if I hated it, I could rent a car and drive home. It's 27 trips later, and I'm so happy that I took the chance.”

- Sharon L. Wilmington, DE (Kentucky Bluegrass, Horses & Bourbon, 2026)

“As a first time WTT traveler, I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was a pleasure to meet so many interesting women and to have some truly unique experiences in a safe and encouraging setting. The evening river boat excursion was a lovely way to see Amsterdam and the behind-the-scenes tour of the brewery in Bruges was super... The cooking class at the Fox Flambe was such a fun time... the Kinderdijk windmill tour was wonderful. The hotels in Amsterdam and Bruges were both boutique style, perfectly situated in the city and very comfortable. Breakfast at both locations was wonderful. I can't say enough good things about (WTT Tour Director)! What a big job, handled with grace, fun and joy. Don't be scared. Do it!”

- Tracy K. Virginia Beach, VA (Holland & Belgium, 2026)

“I've never been kayaking and decided to go on this tour partly because kayaking was part of the tour. I really enjoyed it and am now hooked and am planning on buying my own kayak. Just get out there and do it. (This was Mary Lynn's 3rd WTT tour). Although you fly to the tour location on your own, once you arrive at your destination you have the friendship and safety of a group experience. You will love it!”

- Mary Lynn T. Elgin, OR (Florida's Sun Coast, 2026)

“I really enjoyed the trip. From beginning to end it was run very professionally and all the ladies on the tour were lovely people that I enjoyed talking to. (Our WTT Tour Director) was fabulous -- always had great suggestions on what to do with our free time. My absolute favorite experience was the add-on tour of Dry Tortugas. That was awesome! For the included activities, it's a toss-up between the Everglades tour and the Butterfly House in Key West. I was very impressed with the tour and will be looking for another WTT tour to take.”

- Karen R. Smyrna, GA (Florida's Key West, 2026)

“I really enjoyed this trip more than I anticipated. We hit all the most recognized attractions as well as a couple of “off the beaten path” type of highlights. The ‘local farm visit’ was a much bigger hit with me than I thought it would be! The statue, Christ the Redeemer, was more amazing than I anticipated. And the Iguazu Falls were way bigger than I was expecting. (This was Betsy's 19th trip with WTT!) You are only ‘solo’ until you get to the destination.”

- Betsy H. Columbus, OH (Brazil to Argentina & Iguazu Falls, 2026)

“This tour was just what I needed! I was sick of the cold, rainy weather in Ohio! Lots of chit chat and laughter. Plus, Sarasota is so clean for a city. Friendly residents. Lots to see. A super group of traveling companions. Go for it. (This was Judy's 10th trip with WTT). I have met lots of educated, interesting women. I still am in contact with several. It's a safe way to travel and see the United States and beyond.”

- Judy H. Bowling Green, OH (Florida's Sun Coast, 2026)

“It was just what I wanted and needed. Got to explore the area and enjoy the nice weather. I truly enjoyed traveling to the different islands (keys). The kayaking in the mangroves was my favorite. What fun! Dolphin trip was neat. I really enjoyed the "extra day" trip to the Botanical Gardens. The other tours (eat, walk, trolly) were also very good. (Our WTT Tour Director) always had a smile on her face! She was so informative and was there for you at all times to help with anything and answer any questions. Just do it. YOLO!!”

- Barb T. New London, NH (Florida's Sun Coast, 2026)

“I knew I would have fun on this tour but I didn't know that I would have this much fun! I was able to spend my birthday in a place that I love in the company of a group of truly lovely women. It felt comfortable right away, and within days we were close enough to consider ourselves friends. This certainly ranks up there as one of my best birthdays ever! Just do it. Because the minute you are with the group, it is not solo travel. You are with a group of friends you just hadn't met yet. I could name something that I truly enjoyed about each and every amazing woman that I traveled with. Now I know that the only thing I have to consider is where to go next!”

- Chris K. Bay Village, OH (Florida's Key West, 2026)

“When people ask about my trip I say "It was fantastic!" This is my first WTT tour so I did not know what to expect. It was such a good time. Partly because the (WTT Tour Director) was so good, partly because the women were great travelers, partly because the agenda was so interesting. I will be looking at your calendar for a future trip.”

- Patti P. Gaithersburg, MD (Florida's Key West, 2026)

“This was such a great tour, I don't think it could be better or even duplicated. Most of the activities were absolutely awesome and well planned. The lodging was more than I could have dreamed of. Beautiful. I can't say enough good things about the leadership on this tour. (Our WTT Tour Director) was informative, active with the group, friendly, and inclusive of everyone. She celebrated everyone. The (group) camaraderie was phenomenal.”

- Mary W. Grand Chute, WI (Costa Rica - Active Sightseeing, 2026)

“(Our WTT Tour Director) was great. Very inclusive. Great activities. I especially loved the food tour. The hotel was wonderful. I was nervous going on a tour where I didn't know anyone. However, not knowing anyone on the tour was actually a gift. I got to show up as exactly as I am, with no history, no roles. I could just be me.”

- Roberta P. Forest Grove, OR (Charleston Home & Gardens, 2026)

“I had never been to Charleston. The tours of the homes, gardens, and the carriage tour were wonderful. I enjoyed every meal & location. (Our WTT Tour Director) is a delight & excellent in this role. Her goal was to provide the best experience for all of us. I think having our hotel right in the main area of the city was a huge benefit to me. I enjoyed stepping out into a beautiful park, the coastal area & long walkways. And in the other direction, shops & restaurants. Perfect!”

- Maureen D. Rossville, IL (Charleston Home & Gardens, 2026)

“(Our WTT Tour Director) went beyond expectations in helping us get the most from the area. Sharing the sunset while watching dolphins on an evening cruise... Very fun group of women. I never thought I would use a tour group for a domestic vacation. I saw so much more of the area and things to do than just relaxing on a beach.”

- Ardene M. Amenia, ND (Exploring Florida's Gulf Coast, 2026)

“This was one of the best trips I've ever taken. Everything went perfectly from A-Z. It couldn't have been better! The exhilaration of ziplining, and the "party" of howler monkeys we viewed! Don't hesitate in the least. (WTT) tours bring together women with open minds and hearts with spirits of adventure! If you're worried about personal time, you can be as active or as solo as you prefer. Additionally, the lodging and food options were *well* above average... you'll be in good hands!”

- Elle C. Somerville, MA (Costa Rica - Active Sightseeing, 2026)

“I will always remember visiting Machu Picchu...I can’t believe I did it and got to share the experience with other amazing women! Enjoyed the activities very much...a great way to learn more about the country. Had fun at the cooking class! All of our lodging and locations were great! Meals were delicious! (Our WTT Tour Leader) was great! She was open to any questions or concerns. Do it! I had so many second thoughts. Browsed the site for a couple of years and never booked anything. Until finally, I just went for it and had the best time and met other amazing women who inspired me in one way or another. I will never forget such a wonderful trip with wonderful women! Can’t wait for the next one!”

- Leslie Q. Homestead, FL (Peru & Machu Picchu, 2026)

“Going down the toboggan!! It was a great time in a beautiful city. There was a good balance of scheduled and free time. Other than some weather issues (out of everyone's control), everything was great. (Our WTT Tour Leader) was great, assisting not only with scheduled events but also with free time ideas and logistics. Everyone was friendly and inclusive. Many women were traveling alone so you don't feel left out. Yet you had people with you to enjoy the sights and adventures.”

- Pat M. Newington, CT (Quebec's Winter Wonderland, 2026)

“As a first-time traveller with WTT visiting NOLA, the scheduled activities were all exciting, from the walking tours to the swamp tour, Mardi Gras World and the Jazz cruise. I especially enjoyed the evening carriage ride and listening to the haunting stories of the past and present history of NOLA. Loved! Loved! Loved! the NOLA School of Cooking experience. (Our WTT Tour Leader) was very approachable and made sure all our needs were met. This being my first WTT tour, she calmed my fears and left me wondering why I waited so long to join a WTT tour. I could not have had a better first-time experience. Know that WTT is exceptional, and you'll be asking the same question I asked myself, "why didn't I do this sooner?!"”

- Elaine V. Plainfield, NH (New Orleans, 2026)

“This trip was jammed packed with so many fabulous experiences, and I wanted to see and experience them all. I’m a picky eater and my goal was to try everything. I loved about 98.9 percent of what I tried! (Our WTT Tour Leader) was very upbeat, fun, positive and nothing thrown her way seemed to faze her. Very professional and yes, inclusive (from my perspective) as a first-time WTT traveler. This was my first time traveling solo, and I would definitely recommend WTT to anyone hesitant about solo travel. I felt secure and safe and supported the entire time. So many times on the trip, I jokingly said “it takes a village" because everyone was so helpful.”

- Missy D. Pasadena, MD (Highlights of Southeast Asia, 2026)

“This was a great experience. I enjoyed all of the included activities, especially the Haunted Carriage Ride and the swamp tour. It was a good variety of included activities and free time to do something extra. I hope to go on another tour soon. I have been on a tour with a different company. I like WTT because it's all women and because it gives free time to be on your own if that's what you wanted.”

- Carol H. Sacramento, CA (New Orleans, 2026)

“I liked the tours of Old Quebec and the hotel, but just as much, I liked the activities -- horse-drawn carriage ride, toboggan ride and a visit to the Ice Hotel. The toboggan ride stands out. We loaded up 3 to a sled and were let loose! The ride is faster than it looks from the ground, but it was exciting and so much fun! This was my second trip with WTT but both times I have found some or all of the women in the group ready to include you, so it is easy to travel on your own and make friends.”

- Lauren G. Cedar Park, TX (Quebec's Winter Wonderland, 2026)

“There were so many great moments... one of my favorites was the Hoi An Eco Cooking Class. The tuk-tuk rides were a great way to see the sights. Although I would have liked more time in certain cities, there is nothing I would omit. I think it was a great reflection of the highlights of Southeast Asia. You are never traveling alone in a WTT group. You can have your quiet time, but also talk and interact with the great women you will meet. I enjoyed every day of this tour.”

- Karen M. Peabody, MA (Highlights of Southeast Asia, 2026)

“It was the best tour I've ever taken. I had the time of my LIFE! Activities were educational and fun-filled... The Rescue Rats, Hanoi train tracks experience, Thai Massage, Cooking Class, Cu Chi Tunnels, I could go on and on! Perfect food options, the cooking class was exceptional and fun! All hotels were beautiful and the staff amazing. (Our WTT Tour Leader) was very engaging and personable. Go for it! You will not be sorry!”

- Tina M. Clayton, GA (Highlights of Southeast Asia, 2026)

“This was a bucket trip for me, and it did not disappoint. The activities were fabulous! So many exciting things to do. Very active tour and by far my favorite (This was Maureen's 3rd WTT tour). Climbing the glacier! Finding WTT has been great for me. My friends and family can’t travel, and I love meeting new and fascinating women.”

- Maureen M. South Weymouth, MA (Iceland Fun, 2026)

“An active, educational, fun tour of an environment that is very unique. I found it made me think outside the box that I currently live in. Hanging over a very deep crevasse, attached to a rope that is attached to an ice screw with a guide giving me slack. Trust - Fear - Amazement - Exhilaration - Accomplishment!!! Great experience. Just do it. I'm an introvert at heart, but have found that travelling with this organization offers so many levels of comfort as well as opportunities that allow me to step safely beyond my comfort zone.”

- Karen K. West Babylon, NY (Iceland Fun, 2026)

“A great balance of scheduled walks, hikes, tours, and free time. Death Valley NP is an amazing place. Our time at Badwater Basin will be a lifelong memory. Being fortunate enough to walk into a couple of inches of water there, surrounded by some rare desert blooms and loads of glistening salt crystals, was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I credit (Our WTT Tour Leader) for establishing a fun, respectful and relaxed environment which helped create a very cohesive group. Absolutely give WTT a try!! Between great sightseeing, camaraderie, food and fun you're bound to find something you'll love.”

- Lori C. West York, PA (Death Valley National Park, 2026)

“The Ubehebe Crater and the Salt Flats were amazing to see in person. Actually, seeing everything in person made this a memorable trip. The cottages (accommodations in Death Valley) were amazing! With limited options available,(our WTT Tour Leader) did a great job of finding hole-in-the-wall places that served great food. It was a great group (of women), everyone knew how to get along, or roll their eyes silently.”

- Whitney D. Rhinebeck, NY (Death Valley National Park, 2026)

“I had several firsts... my first international trip, my first passport stamp, my first attempt at snorkeling, my first opportunity for in-person visits with animals I learned about in elementary school... Galápagos giant tortoises, marine & land iguanas, blue-footed boobies, sea lions, sally lightfoot crabs... I could go on! The food & service was wonderful on land and at sea! Great food, great desserts & enough activity that I didn't gain an ounce of weight! Perfect! This was my 6th WTT tour... my favorite to date!”

- Candice C. Hillsborough, NC (Galapagos Islands by Boat, 2026)

“This tour gave me enough days in Quito to give me a good impression of the city. While on the boat we saw many different Galapagos Islands, each a little different and saw the animals that are unique to these islands. Everything we did and saw was awesome. Our WTT Tour Leader helped make the trip more enjoyable by joining in everything we did and watching our for us. I loved this tour and if possible, I would give it higher than a 10.”

- Sherry B. North Massapequa, NY (Galapagos Islands by Boat, 2026)

“I will always remember meeting the mushing dogs up close and in person at the ceremonial kick-off of the Iditarod in Anchorage. And then getting to experience dog sledding in Fairbanks. Our WTT Tour Leader was great, so organized and inclusive. AND she went above and beyond with so many extras. From knitting us all head warmers, to organizing a professional musher to give us a personal talk. Can't say enough about how much I enjoyed this tour. It was my second with WTT, and it just keeps getting better. I tell all my friends that they need to check it out themselves.”

- Heather M. Morris Plains, NJ (Iditarod Sled Dog Race, 2026)

“Just a quality experience all around and I cannot say enough good things about our WTT tour leader. Loved that we got to see so much... Camel rides and dinner at the desert camp. Just absolutely unreal - a dream! Do it - this was my first solo tour experience, and I knew no one coming into it. Everyone is so friendly and it's never an issue to find people to go to meals with or hang out with.”

- Marian H. Tucson, AZ (Morocco, 2026)

“It was my first WTT tour, and I loved all of the activities and meeting new friends. The Hemingway house, the sunset sail, and the food tour were all very memorable. The waterfront room was fabulous! I spent time each day on my back porch overlooking the water. Our tour leader did a great job making everyone feel welcome and providing information. I truly loved the tour!”

- Lauren K. Hoover, AL (Key West Winter Getaway, 2026)

“This was such a great way to see Hawaii! I wanted to go to more than one island but wasn't excited at the prospect of having to deal with multiple flights and airline check-ins. This fit the bill in so many ways, and as a first-time cruiser, it let me have that experience without the worry of being at sea for days at a time. Our WTT Tour Leader did a great job of keeping us informed prior to the tour and making sure everyone was included. The two excursions and group meals selected by WTT were ones I would have chosen if they had not previously been selected, so thanks for that!”

- Nancy S. Texarkana, TX (Hawaiian Islands Cruise, 2026)

“Seeing the Northern Lights has been on my bucket list for many years. We had really good views the first night -- worth the cold and staying up late for. As always, fellow WTT travelers were a fabulous group of women. We had good times together and a lot of laughs. This may not be the kind of trip that most people would enjoy because of the cold weather, but for those who chose it, it was great. That's one of the things I like about WTT -- there are so many trips to choose from, you can always find one that's exciting to you. WTT is fabulous! You will get all the guidance you need and will not feel alone. I've now done 8 trips. They were all well-planned, and the tour leaders have been superb.”

- Kathy R. Stoneham, MA (Yellowknife Winter Wonderland, 2026)

“This was my first WTT trip, but it will definitely not be my last. There are so many moments...the Aurora chase was unforgettable. I also loved the dog sledding. I thoroughly enjoyed snowshoeing in the boreal forest. It was peaceful and meditative. The guide was a First Nation indigenous person who explained the uses of the forest in excellent detail. The experience was transformative. I had always shied away from group travel, much preferring to organize my own. I felt like the women on this trip were all very intelligent, kind and fun. We were united in the pursuit of learning about the NWT and witnessing the celestial event of the Aurora. I think WTT did an incredible job organizing this trip. I am inspired and excited to have been a part of it!”

- Monica R. Fairfield, CA (Yellowknife Winter Wonderland, 2026)

“I loved this trip! I loved all the included activities, especially the dogsledding. Snowshoeing in the forest was so beautiful with the snow on the trees and the moments of total silence. It renewed my spirit. It is totally possible to be comfortable in that environment as long as you have the right gear. This trip is a keeper!”

- Diane E. Vancouver, WA (Yellowknife Winter Wonderland, 2026)

“I liked the mix of group activities and solo activities. Spa treatments, wellness classes, off-resort activities, etc. Excellent lodging and facilities. The customer service at the resort was amazing, like I have not seen in a long time. Our WTT Tour Leader was phenomenal. She is so caring, friendly, and inclusive with all of the tour participants. It was a great trip. Just what I was looking for. Relaxing and educational for expanding my wellness and self-care journey.”

- Pat H. San Antonio, TX (Arizona Wellness Resort Stay, 2026)

“This entire trip from the transportation, to the resort staff, to the class selection, to the spa treatments was stupendous. Beautiful room/resort and breathtaking surroundings! All included activities were awesome! Loved the plant-based food with protein options. Delicious! Our tour leader did an excellent job lining up activities for the group! Traveling with WTT has been a wonderful experience! The excursions and activities are top-notch! The tour leaders are the very BEST!! I am looking forward to my next trip!”

- Julie P. Napa, CA (Arizona Wellness Resort Stay, 2026)

“I loved the camaraderie on this trip. I did not know anyone, and I ended up feeling very comfortable talking with everyone. The activities were interesting, the venue was beautiful and well-run, the staff was friendly, and the spa services were over the top. The hike, mala making class, slow flow class and myofacial release class were all great selections, and I enjoyed each of them. I thought the variety of food offerings was great and the quality very good. This tour was not financially inexpensive, but I feel that it was very worth it for the quality of the WTT services provided, great WTT/tour leader organization pre-and on-tour, and for the quality of the experience.”

- Marcy C. Wayne, NJ (Arizona Wellness Resort Stay, 2026)

“I loved the trip and had a fabulous time. The women on the tour will embrace you, but not smother you. If you want to be part of a group activity, you are unconditionally welcomed, but if you want to do an activity on your own, you are free to do so without feeling like you have to make excuses or have hurt anyone's feelings. It is really the ideal setup for enjoying your vacation in the way that best suits you each day!”

- Stephanie E. Asheville, NC (Sunny San Diego, 2026)

“The excursions were a lot of fun and we learned a lot about the area. Loved the history, the sea lions, and plants native to the area. And we were able to put our feet in the ocean at Coronado. Our WTT Tour Leader was wonderful. From the start when she greeted everyone personally, to the end when we all hugged. We were kept informed and were able to give our thoughts. She made the trip feel like she planned it for us personally. I can’t imagine all the work that goes into these trips. Thank you all for making it a special time.”

- Nancy M. Exton, PA (Sunny San Diego, 2026)

“This trip was very special, and I absolutely loved it. All the activities were fun and I learned some Pasadena history in the process. Two thumbs up. I can't believe how excited I got when we first approached the float we were to work on. I grew up watching the Rose Parade with my mom, and I felt like a child again, in awe of the beauty of the float. You think you know how much work goes into making a Rose Parade float, but then you find out it takes much more time and teamwork than you imagined. I would do it again in a heartbeat. It's the ultimate craft project! Just do it! If you love traveling, new experiences, and meeting great women, this is a great tour group to travel with. I have had the best time seeing new things and making new friends. Be brave and click that trip reservation button. No regrets here!”
