From an idea born out of personal frustration, WTT has grown from a one-woman operation to the recognized leader in women-only travel. A dedicated office staff and a cadre of trained Tour Directors all work together to provide unique, safe, and fun travel opportunities. Our priority is the unaccompanied female traveler who doesn't want to go it alone.

The guiding principles that originally shaped Women Traveling Together® in 1997 have stood the test of time as we have grown from a one-woman operation to a company of many.
- A Community of Solo Travelers. WTT creates a safe and comfortable way for women to travel without needing a travel partner. To facilitate group companionship, we provide virtual opportunities to meet fellow travelers before your tour begins.
- Support at Every Stage. The solo traveler is our priority – that's why a dedicated Program Manager handles your pre-tour logistics and an in-person Tour Director accompanies each trip. No matter who you're talking to at WTT, we're always available to answer your questions.
- Your Interests Guide Your Tour. We offer a variety of travel destinations, many based on traveler suggestions. You're also able to design your own free time on the tour, allowing you to explore your independence with WTT support.
- Transparent Communication with Integrity. We want you to be as fully informed as possible when you decide to travel with WTT. Our tour listings, costs, and terms & conditions provide an abundance of information with no hidden fees or small print.
The Women Behind WTT

Leadership
The leadership team at Women Traveling Together has raised and guided our company to its position as the industry leader in solo women travel. But they're not done yet. Debra Asberry (President and Founder) and Beth Straub (Vice President of Operations) are tireless in their pursuit of innovation to keep WTT ahead of developing trends. Their vision ensures our company stays true to its founding values while continually improving for the women in our community.
Women Traveling Together® was founded in 1997 by Debra. She recognized the challenges of the solo traveler and created a company that supports women who want to explore their travel identity without having to wait for a partner, friend, or group to join them.

The difference between WTT and other tour companies is our cadre of Tour Directors that accompany every trip. These women are passionate about travel and committed to helping you get what you want from your travel experience. WTT prepares Tour Directors with ongoing training and education. They are constantly learning new ways to problem-solve, lead trips with authority, and build community on tour.
